Child Development and Parent Education

Healthy Families and SEEDS child development and parent education programs offer young families information and support to nuture a strong parent-child attachment and promote healthy growth and development for their children. Home Visitors provide age and developmentally appropriate activities using the Parents As Teachers curriculum, and offer assessments to ensure the children of our families are meeting developmental milestones.

Schools

Our staff are stationed within local school districts to provide supportive services to pregnant and parenting students. Staff offer parent education, information on healthy sexuality and healthy relationships while providing services that are tailored to the specific needs of the districts.

Foster Care

Our Echo program provides customized, weekly home and community visits and Department of Human Services (DHS) Advocacy for young parents in foster care or for those whose children are in foster care. Services include supervision and documentation of parent/child visits, participation in court proceedings, DHS meetings, home visiting life skills and parent education.
